As I explored the internet for a bio on Seth Godin to reference in an assignment for my graduate class in Marketing, page 3 of my Google search resulted in an article titled “How Kanye West Became the Reincarnation of Al Green.” As a fan of both artists, the title alone gave me enough pause to ironically ponder both beauty and madness their career’s share and then found myself elated while reading your post to see you draw the same parallels and others I had forgotten. I would love to see more articles with similar comparisons of past and present.
